Rock Garage was originally started as a Facebook community for music enthusiasts in search of the answer to the age old question: If, during a global pandemic and due to social distancing, a musician finds themselves alone in the garage (or basement or wherever) and there is no one around to hear them, do they make a sound?? As the global Coronavirus crisis continued on, more and more musicians and music enthusiasts were being affected. Unable to play together, teach together, perform together, and learn together, a huge void opened up. That’s when we realized that Rock Garage could be so much more. In addition to our online community, we can offer online instruction for guitar, bass, drums, and vocals. But there is a very big hurdle . . . many families are severely impacted financially through the effects of COVID-19. We believe that no one should be denied the opportunity to learn and play music . . . especially in tough times. We are proud to answer the call to offer “Pay What You Can” lessons. If a traditional lesson cost is $30 for 30 minutes, maybe you are only comfortable with $20, or $10. Maybe you’ve been blessed with good fortune, and you want to pay $35 or more. The choice is up to you, and the quality of the instruction is not changed at all! Check out the bios of our very talented instructors. View their availability. Book a lesson, and pay what you can! We are all in this together, so wouldn’t it be better if we were all able to enjoy music? Join Rock Garage now!!
